When tightening the bolts, it is necessary to ensure that the adjustment plate is not misaligned and use a torque wrench to obtain the specified bolt pre tightening torque.
3. Inspection after installation of slewing bearing
If abnormal phenomena such as noise, impact, or sudden increase in power occur during installation and use, the machine should be shut down for inspection. After running for about 100 hours, check the pre tightening torque of the installation bolts on the inner and outer rings of the rotary table bearing. Afterwards, check every 500 hours of operation.
When disassembling and cleaning bearings, they should be assembled according to the bearing assembly drawing, and the upper and lower half rings should be assembled according to the original drilling positions. The surface of teeth should be cleaned of debris every 10 days and coated with lubricating grease.
Before fully tightening the installation bolts, a gear mesh check should be carried out to ensure that the backlash meets the accuracy requirements of the gear.
When installing bolts, tempered flat washers can be used, and spring washers are prohibited.
After the radial positioning of the rotary table bearing, cross tighten the installation bolts and check the free rotation of the bearing. When tightening bolts, there should be sufficient pre tightening force, which should be 70% of the yield limit of the bolt material.
