The slewing bearing is an indispensable transmission device in the excavator slewing system. Users who have used the slewing bearing should be aware that after a period of use of the bearing, there will be certain wear and loss. 

The main reasons for the wear of the excavator slewing bearing are:

1. When purchasing a slewing bearing, the model matching is incorrect. When docking the tooling, there may be speed mismatch and excessive load, resulting in wear of the inner and outer teeth;

2. The design and material selection of the slewing bearing for the tooling model can lead to accelerated wear of the slewing bearing if not selected properly

Below, the editor will introduce the maintenance and upkeep methods of the slewing bearing to everyone

1. Regularly check the pre tightening force of the slewing bearing bolts. The slewing bearing is used for 100-500 hours, which is a working cycle. After the equipment is shut down, the bolt pre tightening torque should be checked one by one. After a period of running in, every 1000 hours is a working cycle, and the machine is stopped to check the bolt pre tightening force.

2. When using the slewing bearing, attention should be paid to changes in operating noise. If there is noise during operation, it should be immediately disassembled and inspected to eliminate faults;

When pre tightening the nut, evenly apply lubricating oil between the bolt and nut, and tighten it multiple times clockwise with a matching wrench.

When storing slewing bearings in inventory, they should be horizontally lifted and stacked for storage. Do not lift vertically to prevent deformation of the rolling ring;

5. The bolts and nuts used in the slewing bearing should be selected according to the load-bearing curve of the slewing bearing bolts. During installation, tighten the double nuts to prevent loosening.

6. Four oil cups are distributed on the inner and outer gear rings of the slewing bearing, and lubricating grease is added to the inside of the raceway from the oil cups. Under the guidance of the staff, every 50 hours is a cycle for the slewing bearing, and every time the lubricating grease is added, it must be fully added until there is oil leakage from the sealing area visually.
